Description
Join Fr. Don Piraro, Fr. Whitney Miller, Nelda Turner, and Judy Savoie for a directed retreat, a form of silent retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola focusing on the personal prayer of the individual. There are no group activities or conferences other than daily Eucharist and an individual daily meeting with the director. The retreatant spends about four hours in contemplative prayer each day of the retreat. The retreatant may choose to do three or five days. Call 337-855-1232 for more information or to register. Suggested donation is $263.00 for three days or $440.00 for five days.

DescriptionSaint Charles Center is the Retreat/Spirituality facility of the Diocese, which opened in 1995 during the Episcopate of The Most Reverend Jude Speyrer, First Bishop of Lake Charles. Fr. Whitney Miller is the Director of the Center, Fr. Don Piraro is Director Emeritus, the Assistant Director is Mary Ann Johnson and Debra Meade is Administrative Assistant for the Center.
