Description

Fr. Clyde Thomas and Kathy Owen lead this Lenten Day of Reflection for Single Persons on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Nicene Creed along with our Baptismal promises describe what we believe as Catholics and profess as truth.  Fr. Thomas will explore fundamental tenants of the Catholic faith using elements of the Nicene Creed as a guide and explain why Baptism is the key to understanding the meaning of Lent.  Mrs. Owen, the Director of Family Life for the Diocese, will lead the afternoon reflection on prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

All single persons are invited to prepare for their Lenten journey reflecting on these sacred promises.  Fr. Thomas is pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Arthur and is a member of the Diocesan Continuing Education for Priests Committee. Cost is $15 per person and includes lunch.  Please pre-register by calling the Office of Family Life, 337-439-7400, Extension 301.
