25th and 50th Wedding Anniversary Mass

Bishop Glen John Provost will honor couples celebrating 25 and 50 years of marriage during 2009 at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 7, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.  Following Bishop Provost's homily, the couples will renew their marriage vows.

A reception will follow the Mass in Ave Maria Hall, across Bilbo Street from the Cathedral. At the reception the Bishop will be individually introduced to the couples and present them with a special certificate honoring their marriage milestone.

The Cathedral is handicap accessible for those who may require this assistance. If you or your parents are celebrating a Silver or Golden Jubilee of marriage this year and would like to attend this Mass, please registesr by contacting your parish office by May 22.

The annual event is sponsored by the Office of Family Life of the Diocese of Lake Charles.
