Among the many important dates and events in the Diocese of Lake Charles during 2012, a number hold special significance. Please mark your calendars and make plans to be a part of these special times.
Priestly Ordination: Saturday, May 26, at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Jazz Brunch: Sunday, June 10 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Lake Charles Country Club. Proceeds benefit the work of Catholic Charities of Southwest Louisiana.
Bishop’s Golf Classic: Friday, October 5 at the Lake Charles Country Club. Proceeds benefit the Clergy Retirement Fund and the Seminarian Education Fund.
Diocesan Pilgrimage with the Bishop: Join Bishop Provost on a Pilgrimage to famous shrines of France from Monday, Oct. 29 to Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Bishop’s Gala: Saturday, December 8 from 6 p.m. to midnight in the Lake Charles Civic Center Exhibition Room. A Black Tie Formal Social and Dance. Proceeds benefit the Office of Communications’ efforts of evangelizing the Catholic faith in the Diocese through our print, electronic and television ministries. |
