March for LIfe

March for Life - Remembering the anniversary of Roe V. Wade

This annual event is held each year on the actual date that abortion was legalized in the United States, January 22.

The events of the evening begin with a rosary for life and prayer service at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.  Following the prayer service, we walk in a candlelit procession to the steps of the District Courthouse on Ryan Street. We unite as one voice of Christians of all faiths and profess our belief that life begins at conception and is a gift from God, never to be considered a choice but a child.

We protest this unjust law by standing firm together on the steps of the place where this unjust law must be overturned, the courthouse.
