LAKE CHARLES – Three additional seminary burses have been established to aid the Diocese of Lake Charles in paying for the cost of the education of men studying for the priesthood. The number of burses now stands at 66 with a total of $1,359,394.96 invested.

LAKE CHARLES -- Bishop Glen John Provost celebrated liturgies at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Thursday, Dec. 20, and at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, Friday, Dec. 21, and led prayers for reparation following the vandalism that occurred at the two churches.
