Fr. Don Piraro, Fr. Whitney Miller, Nelda Turner and Judy Savoie introduce the Directed Retreat.
The directed retreat is prayerful silence and tailored to the individual needs of the retreatant. Based on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, the retreat consists of the retreatant’s meeting with a director once a day and praying on assigned passages from the Scriptures. This weekend helps the retreatant learn the prayer technique and prepares the person for a longer retreat. Call the Center to register at (337) 855-1232. You must call the Center to register for this retreat. Online registration is not available. The suggested donation is $265.00 per guest. Venue
DescriptionSaint Charles Center is the Retreat/Spirituality facility of the Diocese, which opened in 1995 during the Episcopate of The Most Reverend Jude Speyrer, First Bishop of Lake Charles. Fr. Whitney Miller is the Director of the Center, Fr. Don Piraro is Director Emeritus, the Assistant Director is Michelle Monceaux and Rachel Robinson serves as Administrative Assistant for the Center.
