A Lenten Evening of Reflection for Single Persons
In our culture today, we always seem to be rushing, over-stimulated and distracted, seldom rooted in the present moment. Collectively, we live our lives far from the “contemplative now.” What is needed is the reestablishment of core values that will move us toward a more spiritual lifestyle-balance, simplicity, holy leisure, centering practices and prayer. Join spiritual directors Robin and Easton Hebert as together we work towards the goal of establishing a new rhythm-one that is dedicated to the care of the soul. All single persons, whether single by choice or circumstances, are invited to this evening of reflection during the most holy season of Lent. The evening is hosted by the Diocese Office of Family Life and the Connected Catholics singles ministry. DescriptionSaint Charles Center is the Retreat/Spirituality facility of the Diocese, which opened in 1995 during the Episcopate of The Most Reverend Jude Speyrer, First Bishop of Lake Charles. Fr. Whitney Miller is the Director of the Center, Fr. Don Piraro is Director Emeritus, the Assistant Director is Michelle Monceaux and Rachel Robinson serves as Administrative Assistant for the Center.
