The Bishop's Golf Classic, an annual event to raise funds for assist in the educational expenses for the seminarians studying for the priesthood for the Diocese of Lake Charles as well as provide funding for the Priest Retirement Fund, will be held Monday, Oct. 4, at the Lake Charles Country Club. The four person scramble will have two shotgun starts - 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - and costs $125 per person or $500 per team. Hole sponsorships are also available for $150.
