LAKE CHARLES – The Most Reverend Glen John Provost, Bishop of Lake Charles, will ordain Deacon Bryan Thompson to the priesthood for the Diocese of Lake Charles at a 10 a.m. Liturgy on Saturday, May 26 in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, located at the corner of Kirby and Bilbo streets in downtown Lake Charles.

LAKE CHARLES -- The Bishop’s Dinner for Religious Emblems Recognition was held recently at the Knights of Columbus Hall of Council 4562 of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Various medals earned through Religious Emblem programs went to 38 youth, while 20 adults were honored for services rendered on behalf of Scouting.
